As a U.S. federal contractor, John Deere regularly reviews its policies and programs to ensure alignment with applicable laws and requirements. Following a recent review, we are updating our employee giving and volunteerism programs.
As a result, we will no longer sponsor, fund, or participate in organizations, events, or scholarships centered on a specific identity group, as defined by current requirements. This applies to employee volunteerism and giving programs. New cause nominations are temporarily paused as these changes are implemented.
Beginning July 1, approved causes will gradually be added back to the platform until the full list of eligible causes is available. Going forward, we will focus on opportunities that are broadly accessible and aligned with our business priorities.
